Coffee At Serenity
Like most people, I love a good cup of coffee in the morning, and we have a few really great coffee houses just moments from Serenity, but if you’re like me, nothing beats having that first warm cup while sitting in your pj’s especially if you are fortunate enough to catch some of our wild life just outside the window.
Serenity has an auto drip coffee maker as well as a tea kettle available for your use. We provide various sweeteners and non-dairy creamer for you. As a professed connoisseur of coffee, I appreciate that some people have their favorite roast as well as a preference for decaf or full boar, and having said that, I might suggest trying some beans from one of our local roasters, Colectivo Coffee; you can find them at The Green Grocer just up the road. Their Blue Heeler is my favorite; an organic blend of regular and dark roasted beans with a smooth, earthy aroma. We used to stock it for you but State regulations now require us to only offer single serve packages, so I’ve found a good alternative in Farmer Brothers Breakfast Blend which you will find at the house.
To use the coffeemaker, simply lift the lid, fill with enough water for the amount of coffee you want, insert a filterpack, and hit the toggle up. You can bring your own grounds, and we’ll have paper filters for you to use, but please remember to throw used grounds in the trash and not down the drain as our septic system does not like that.

Steamers Coffee
This little place is right in our downtown, next to the Green Grocer, and I think it is one of the most comfy places to have a cup. They have good coffee, make a delicious hot chocolate and offer some tasty baked goods with a bit of art and local ambiance.

Boxed and Burlap
The Coffeehouse at Boxed and Burlap is just a couple blocks up the road from us and they serve an excellent cup of coffee from beans that they roast themselves. It’s a very cozy place and they offer a full service espresso bar and pastries. Open Daily from 6am.

Niche Cafe and Wine Bar
Niche is a neat cafe with plenty of places to sit inside or out. They serve delicious Columbian Coffee and pastries during the day and become a wine and spirits Bar in the evenings. It’s a great place for a nice morning, or evening out. They are located 715 Hunt Club Drive near the entrance to the Geneva National.
