Sometimes I think Winter can be what makes Lake Geneva an unforgettable destination. It can be a snowy wonderland full of outdoor adventures with spectacular views, or you can find some of the best indoor hotspots to pamper and entertain yourself!
Ice Skating
Lake Geneva is beautiful and alluring, and when it is frozen you may get the urge to skate on it, which is fine as long as the ice is thick enough, but remember to exercise caution on the frozen lake. Don’t go alone, go during the day, and remember that clear ice is better (the strongest ice generally doesn’t have snow on it or bubbles in it). We also have some great ice skating rinks nearby. Even in winter you can still hike or cross country ski at some of the best natural parks around.
